8'0 5wt Amber Kabuto Fiberglass Fly Rod built by Gouldfish for George in Pennsylvania

The Amber 8053 from Kabuto is one of my favourite blanks to work on, the colour is sublime and can take both bold and subtle approaches to the build.  This rod features a stacked bamboo sliding band reel seat and  the hand turned  cork grip has been kept simple and is from flor grade Portuguese cork.

The rod comes with one of our signature rod bags with gold embroidery thanks to Kate from Gouldstyle (aka Mrs Gouldfish) and an aluminium rod tube.
