"Lil' Will", a Gorgeous Amber Kabuto 8'0" 5wt built for Bill in Texas.
This is a truly beautiful and very practical rod that we built for Bill in Texas. The rod is based on Kabuto's amazing 8053 blank in the limited production amber colour and features some very special touches. The reel seat for the rod was made with some olivewood that I had imported from Bethlehem and is finished with Lemke hardware. The rod also has a banded agate stripping guide to match the golden brown thread wraps.

For our customer Will in North Carolina, a beautiful 7'6" Kabuto 5wt. This rod was built with a unique hiddent thread reel seat engraved with the Gouldfish logo. One of my favourite rods, this is one that I personally use as my day to day rod for small lakes. All finishing in japanese silk in olive green with red trim bands. In addition there are marks on the rod at 18" and 24" for sizing the catch, certainly this beautiful slow action rod will be a lot of fun with a 24" t
