Lone Red Star - 7'6" 5 weight fibreglass rod

This custom build was commissioned by a customer in Texas and he came up with the name "Lone Red Star" to combine the fact the rod is going to the Lone Star State and coming from the land of the Red Star. It's a beautiful 7'6" 5 weight rod built on a Mountain Brook blank. The reel seat is an uplocking reel seat using REC components and with a rosewood insert. The grip was hand turned using a mixture of flor grade cork from Portugal and red burl cork. Wraps are finished with orange and black silk.
